ORE
:WOOF: I'm Ore! Mascot and inspiration for starting TLDOM. Like some owners, my dad Mark’s work schedule requires him to be away from home most of the day. Because of this, he often found it hard to coordinate a time to make appointments for me. This left my dad with an unsettling feeling, and it was then he realized that others must be stuck with that same dilemma. Soon after, This Lil Dog of Mine Pet Services was born. My dad's vision was to provide quality services for working individuals and their pets, and ease their feelings of worry. I hope y'all love the services that have been provided. My Dad and his team are the best!
Yejide
Hi! I’m Yejide and animals have been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. My journey in pet care began early, I started learning hands-on from family members who worked in companion animal care when I was just five years old. Over the years, I’ve continued to build on that foundation through hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals and situations. When I’m not spending time with animals, I love being outdoors — whether that’s hiking, mountain biking, or even skydiving! At home, I share my life with my husband and two amazing dogs, Frankenstein and Kylie, who keep me on my toes and always make me smile.
Sierra
I'm Sierra, a veterinary technician and passionate cat mom. My background in animal health means your pets will receive knowledgeable, loving care. I'll treat your furry family like my own, giving you peace of mind while you're away.
Jacob
Hi, I’m Jacob! I’m originally from Akron, Ohio, moving down to Austin in 2020 to study at The University of Texas. I’m currently a graduate student at UT in the final year of the mechanical engineering masters program. I have had a love for animals for as long as I can remember, often dog and cat sitting for my relatives and family friends growing up. I love meeting and getting to know all animals big and small, and TLDOM has given me a great outlet for this purpose. When I’m not hanging out with pets, you can find me at Texas football games, golfing, or trying new Austin restaurants!
JAVETTA
Hello! I’m Ja Vetta, Austin’s native. My family has two miniature schnauzers and I own a shihtzu. I’ve always loved and treated animals like humans. Animals are always dependable and lovable companionship that any person would want and love to have. This Lil Dog of Mine is like animal heaven to me!
Mark, Owner
Welcome, I am the owner of This Lil’ Dog of Mine Pet Services. I’ve had a passion for animals ever since I was a child. I was the kid that would always bring home stray animals, weird critters; always begging my mother to go to the pet store or zoo. As I got older my passion and interest in animals grew. I attended vet summer camps and even joined FFA. After high school I had my heart set on attending vet school in the future. After graduating from Prairie View A&M University with a bachelors in Animal Science, I continued my education at Texas A&M University, where I received a Master of Science in Applied Ethology with a focus in animal behavior and well-being.
After graduating and entering the work field, I quickly realized I wanted to use my experience and education in a different way. I wanted to provide a service to people that they would feel great about using. Since opening This Lil Dog of Mine Pet Services, I’ve gained so much experience and currently hold a CPR certification through Austin Pet First Aid. I’m always working toward making This Lil Dog of Mine Pet Services better for my clients and their pets.
ALICIA
Hello! My name is Alicia. Born and raised in Washington State, I relocated to the "City of the Violet Crown" in the summer of 2017. Animals of all types have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. So when Hopper Augustus, my male feline tabby cat, and I paired up 13 years ago, he immediately became my cuddly best friend and a trusted co-pilot of my daily life. Like Hopper, I am always ready for the next adventure and look forward to sharing your pet's unique journey!
JOSEPH
Hi, my name is Joseph Barr. I’m from North Carolina, but currently laying my roots here in beautiful Austin. Growing up, my family loved pets whether dogs, birds or fish. We had them all. I currently have a 3-year old Siberian Husky who is full of life and keeps me on my toes. Over the years I’ve done volunteer work for various animal shelters and occasional pet sitting jobs for local neighbors. There’s nothing like the bond between pets and their owners. I love dogs that are big and full of life, and definitely have to show the little ones love too.
Aracely
Hi, I’m Aracely! I’m a proud mom to three fur babies and one amazing human kiddo. My family is my peace and my chaos, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. Before I started caring for pets professionally, I worked as an Animal Control Officer. It was a role I truly loved, but it came with a lot of fast-paced, high-stress days. I realized I wanted a better balance, something that allowed me to stay close to the animals I adore while also giving me more time with my own family. That’s when I found the perfect fit: caring for your fur babies as if they were my own. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I love the joy they bring to each day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just some extra cuddles, I look forward to every visit and the big smiles your pets bring to my face. With me, you can feel confident knowing your pets are not only safe and cared for, but also loved like family.
jonathan
Hi, I’m Jonathan! I’ve been making math fun for middle schoolers for over ten years—and I somehow still love it! I’ve been crazy about animals since I was a kid and now share my home with my wife and our quirky Boston Terrier, Ruby. When I’m not solving equations or grading papers, you’ll usually find me out on the tennis court, cruising on my bike, or snapping photos of adorable pets. As a longtime pet photographer, I have a knack for capturing wagging tails, goofy grins, and the occasional cat side-eye. Whether I’m teaching or chasing the perfect shot, I bring plenty of energy, laughs, and heart to everything I do.
